It would be very surprising if ACT1stNational have kept the King
updated on the betrayal by themselves of a Treaty originally entered
into on behalf of the Crown; this is a good move by Maori, and shows
that, unlike the current Government, they understand honesty and
loyalty and integrity; the King deserves to be kept well informed.

Just the one? Not two?
Yes, just one King.

You are an idiot. The Governor General does that, it is part of the job. And it
will have been done.
The King will know everything he needs or wants to know. Any suggestion to the
contrary is stupid.
There has been no betrayal, that is a damned lie. It is political immaturity at
best.

It would be expected that the Government would keep the NZ
Governor-General (the Kings appointed representative) appraised of
their actions. It would be expected that the Governor-General, as
part of her responsibilities, would report from time to time to King
Charles.

That is presumptuous on the part of some Maori. While the Treaty of
Waitangi was between the Crown and some Maori, Queen Victoria was
never directly involved because everything, including drafting the
Text of the treaty, was carried out by her appointed representative.

Maori should have written to the current appointed representative. To
write to the current King and expect a response is nothing more than
irrational grandstanding.
