You’d think there would be nothing controversial about backing a
resolution demanding that someone who has already been found guilty of
breaking the law should abide by that law. And indeed, the
overwhelming proportion of the world community supports that, too.
Including New Zealand.

But some people still think that laws are only for “bad guys”, and
that they, as “official good guys” or something, should be above the
law.

David Seymour seems to be one of those who think that demanding that
someone abide by the law is “controversial”.
