It is possible that the police prosecutors were not as rigorous in
obtaining a murder conviction for Edwards as they might have been.
There is significant previous from Edwards that makes a mockery his
"provoked homophobic" defence. Previous that was known to the Police before
the case was heard, and that they chose not to reveal to the court.

It occured to me the other day that we have a well known example of a
homophobic detective screwing with the law, Colin Eade and his despicable
treatment of Peter Ellis's case.

I wonder if we are not dealing with more homophobic police culture in the
McNee case.

"Homophobic" is a meaningless politically correct propaganda
term. The case was either prosecuted correctly or not.

Suggesting some kind of breach of procedure based on political
correctness is just so "socialist".

I don't think it had anything to do with homophobia. I think it was
more about protecting important people with dirty little secrets.
