At long last Labour seems to have listened to experts rather than drips under pressure like Hipkins and Ardern's cabinet!

Finally. It is unexplainable how hard the MoH has worked to obstruct saliva testing.

Chippie has also brought in another good thing - finally; a ballot system for MIQ vouchers. Two faint beacons in a dark sea of incompetence though.

Maybe they bought millions of the nasal swabs last year at a "bargain"
price and have wanted to use up the stock.

You are thinking like a business owner. Health (actually the whole of
the civil service) is not known to be penny-wise like this. My bet is
that the part of big-pharma that supplied the swabs was not in the
saliva-test business and had the ear of the MoH with pseudo-science
against saliva testing.

On the contrary, the public sector knows how to make every dollar
count. But by all means pass your speculation to Mike Hosking for one
of his "reckons" . . .

Crash wasn't talking about the public sector imbecile! He was talking about the civil service. Again you demonstrate your total lack of comprehension skills. They're right down their with your reputation and political insanity!
