This government could not organise a piss up in a brewery.
(Yet your pension along with your filled prescriptions and your winter fuel
payments continue to roll in, on time every time.)
Not organised by this government, already in place and for decades in some
cases.
As to the governmental inadequacies you so cleave to as if your very life and
soul depended on them, repetitiousness is cheap. So why not give the highly
organised rarin'-to-go Collins and her rump a go? All you have to do is whip
up a usurpation (ooops, sorry, insurrection) and Bob's yer uncle. (A word to
the wise - look up the meaning and personal consequences of 'sedition' before
you do anything too hotheaded.)
Good luck!
Your good luck is reciprocated.
Not your silly sarcasm and childish retorts however. But as the title of this
thread says - No Surprise.
What the opposition does badly is worthy of your own thread, frankly I don't
much care at the moment, what the government does badly and so often fails to
do at all is far more important than that. As any smart person would "cleave:
to.

I thank you kindly, although I've always found luck is mostly down to the individual's attitudes and ways of thinking and doing.

Not your silly sarcasm and childish retorts however.
Then know such retorts are calibrated to a nicety to compensate for the mmm...quality(?) of your own panicky offerings.

You know that the Peter Principle pervades virtually all governments and oppositions alike. Ready adaptation by the layman is the quintessential key to coping with the outcomes of this immutable law for what it is and must always be. But for such adaptation to succeed, there must be matching inner resources to meet whatever conditions currently pertain - albeit extreme or even alarming it may be to those burdened and misinformed by their own so-delicate constitutions.

Hence and as with me, all but a small down-at-heart and disaffected minority can, of course, cope. This naturally also includes tolerating and soothing the fevered brows of the down-at-heart and disaffected who evidently can't - the caring, humanitarian approach, one might say, and delivered by each of us in our own way.

I never panic, you?
As for the rest of your post. Pfft just more over the top and superfluous
verbiage.

And why not when it performs two useful tasks:

1. Reminds us that there's such a thing as sense of proportion.

2. No matter what, not to take **one' self** too seriously...taking us back to (1.) - the virtuous circle.

A lesson in earlier life learned by any and all who are thereby equipped to cope with whatever life throws at them, they being not the smug and complacent but the wholesomely sanguine and contented.

There is no sign of the latter in your replies here. altogether rather
smug and unwholesomely arrogant.

Totally with you Tony. This Government seems to be totally not capable of
working through the thought processes of/for everyday events. What needs to
be done, how shall it be done, and have we covered all bases?

Policy is xyz so this means we need to do what?

Still it would also seem that Air New Zealand follows a close section. Come
about madam, no need to ask about permission to travel.

Yes I agree that Air NZ seems to have dropped the ball, not yet enough detail
to be sure but a sane person would ask whether they are taking their
responsibilities seriously.
I posted another thread about some friends who turned up for their covid
vaccine shot to find the place deserted.
I have learned today that it is happening all over the country, no brewery
would do it so badly.
There are different processes in different health regions (which may be part of
the problem) but most people in most areas get reminders maybe one day before
their shots. Only an idiot would miss the fact that if they can do that they
can also alert people to changes etc. The people I referred to did get a
reminder the day before but the cupboard was bare Mother Hubbard.
