Name just one politician not guilty of sins of omission. After all, politics and politicking are invariably about sinning under the knowing mandate of those the politician serves, propaganda, faith and belief invariably trumping learning, logic and reason.

Turning to the article itself: spin doctors of any stripe are, by definition, infinitely worse than politicians simply because they are unaccountable to an electorate they themselves are not obliged to serve.

This is why the writer's puddle-shallow party political broadcasts should be treated as no more substantial than the ephemeral noughts and ones through which he conveys them.
