Digging down a little....the article you cite is by a certain Kirsten Bellstrom and one other - I cite:
"Kristen Bellstrom is a features editor at Fortune, where she oversees The Broadsheet newsletter and edits the publication’s long-form storytelling, as well as its coverage of gender and business."
So she is into "gender issues". She is also an avowed feminist.
