Seems Mallard and Hipkins think lessons on presenting new bills to parliament are a waste of time. No surprises here from Ardern's guardian duck and Minister of failure :)

Now if Mallard was really interested in stopping parliaments time being wasted maybe for starters he should resign from parliament and take most of the Labour/Green parties with him!

Well the article says that the rules allow this to happen and it certainly
is way of promoting and explaining to the public the bill which has been
drawn out of the "bill bag". Far better than the a Karen episode of last
week.

Democracy is about different view points being aired.

That is why Parliament is there.
To forward ideas, debate law changes and when there is consensus, pass
the law...
One thing is when David Seymour gets up to speak Mallards face goes all
contorted..
Nice to see how the 'speaker' is unbiased

Reading what the law proposed I'm not surprised Rich's open government is opposed to it being discussed or even voted on :)
