$500 million for a hospital, plus $300 million safety upgrades for
Napier - Taupo road.

Sounds good, until you realise that National, faced with a hole of at
least $7 billion in their finance calculations, have now said that
they would make up that shortfall by raiding the Land Transport Fund .
. .

And apparently Yule has no conscience about the deaths under his watch
for dirty water in Havelock North, and thinks a road is more important
than getting the water fixed long term.

But he says they are election pledges only - so that's all right, we
can just ignore them . . .

Time for Yule to go . . .

So you want to see the end of Ardern as 'glorious leader' of the government for failing to meet her election pledges. Well done Rich there may be some hope for you yet......

How many of the complaints are just Labours dirty politics do you think Rich?

No it is not, and you know that I was referring to th eimplication of
what National and Yule areseparately saying.

Labour promises from 2017 were not promises made by the coalition
government, but good progress was made on many fronts; despite the
significant events of the Christchurch Shooting, and Covid.

Promises do matter, but National appear to be treating them very
loosely; clearly as a result of the high chance that they will not be
in office.

But in your little red school book only if it's National because we all know you think (?) Labour good, National bad!

Funny but Ardern didn't look very confident about keeping her undeserved job during the date. She looked like a teenager being told she couldn't go to the Mall on Friday night. All sulky and gothlike :)

That one hursts because it had been a clear National fail - and
possibly prompted Key to leave.

Increased minimum wage, increased benefits, removing the artificial
rules that meant National were able to ignore housing deficiencies,
poor health performance due to lack of funding. The biggest promise
fulfilled was to follow expert advice on Covid, and to subsidise wages
- both resisted by National. Successful wage agreements with teachers,
nurses and aged care workers; increased recognition of Maori interests
and deprivation; funding additional mental health resources. There is
quite a long list, but as for any government there are some things
unfinished, and some projects that have had to bow to other
priorities. The election will deliver a verdict . . .

Of course - I didn;t think there was any problem with the promises
being made - what was intriguing is Yule ignoring water problems
(again), and making big roading promises one day and finding that
National plan to loot the roading fund to pay for their multi million
accounts botch . . .

Time for "where are you getting the money from", don't you think?

Why are you avoiding this as well as the fact you're just playing your usual stupid smear attacks on National Rich? Worried Ardern's going to lose this election without backup from either winston or the Greens?
